Full Moon in Libra vibes…

She became totally full around a few hours ago now…

I had a peek at the chart this morning (something I’ve only just started doing again recently… I usually only like digging into natals). But it’s really such a beauty this month; so many potent energies stirring – and most of all, beginning. The Moon (which, when full, illuminates the darkness; shines light on new perspectives, and new parts of ourselves that we did not see before) – is in Libra (sign of balance and negotiation) – and opposite the Sun, Jupiter and Chiron in Aries: the very first sign; the sign of Spring, and our egoic identity).

The Sun in Aries, is just 4 degrees away from Jupiter – planet of expansion and confidence; luck and prosperity… which is encouraging us to start to expand our senses of who we truly are now … and to start tuning into the energies that want to start expressing through us – beyond all that which we’ve ever been taught.

Old structures are crumbling

We’re on a super fast highway to this ‘Homecoming’ now, since Pluto went into Aquarius on March 23rd. Aquarius, ruled by oddball Uranus, is the energy of the Great Awakener, ruling (amongst other things): communities being made up of individual Beings (no herd mentality with Aquarius energy!), and understanding and embodying our own unique energetic blueprints…

(…and one of the tools we’ve got to do this, of course, is tapping into our Astrology charts – because absolutely no-one else has the same one).

By ‘unique energetic blueprints’, by the way, I’m talking about the ‘alternative path’. Your own unique path. The path of the rebel (because the Sun is also smack bang next to Chiron this Full Moon … and with just 1 degree of separation here).

Chiron is better known as the Wounded Healer – a part of the psyche which, when understood and really integrated, can uncover and unleash some of our greatest human gifts this lifetime. Gifts that will not look like anyone else’s (because the only person who has taken your own Soul’s journey … is YOU).

Supporting all this, are Mars and Saturn (the bad boys; the old malefics), who are in a gorgeous trine together this Full Moon, and in the super feminine, sensitive, empathic signs of Cancer (Mars) and Pisces (Saturn). Cancer is the energy signature of the home, the mother, and the past/old (perhaps even buried) memories… so there might well be triggers coming up right now which open us up to the chance to tune into our emotional bodies and work on any ‘original woundings’ … so that we really understand what we’re re-experiencing at this time.

What old pattern is coming up for us to finally integrate, and release?

What parts of us want to evolve and transform?

On this Full Moon, can we find the courage (Chiron in Aries) to shine a light (Full Moon) on any false identities, and any old woundings (Full Moon opposite Sun and Chiron in Aries) with a sense of peace and objectivity, and with the aim of restoring balance (Full Moon in Libra)?

As Carl Jung would say, it’s about our Individuation.

And a coming back Home to our full and Whole (Holy) Power.

One final thing about the Moon that comes up for me now, is that of course, she has a Triple aspect that we can live by and work with. The Trinity (waxing, Full, waning/The Maiden, Mother, Crone). And on this note, I started working again with Egyptian energies last week (after a surprise visit from Isis one night!)…

And, bringing in the magic of the energy of 3 again, here are the simple principles from the Egyptian Creation Myth:

SIA – consciousness, thought, imagination

HEKA – the energy of creation

HU – divine utterance, and the power of the voice to direct the Heka to produce specific results.

Which I’ve since liked to translate as…

I imagine. I allow. I speak the words and it is So.
